2006 U.S.
National Louisville, Kentucky - One Last Time!
What an exciting event! Not only were there
hundreds of the most beautiful and talented Arabians in
the world but the show put on by The Arabian Nights
and the Black Stallion were a fun addition to the
regular venue. The shopping was varied and
spectacular as usual with everything from bling
for your horse to bling for you and your house.
Scheduled Barn Parties went on throughout the
week giving you a chance to snack on tasty treats while
viewing their lovely horses and learning more about
their particular training/breeding programs.
Owners of new National Champions threw celebration
parties as well. (Yes, we returned home very
tired!) We also tried to win the beautiful horse
trailer that was given away but unfortunately it went to
some lucky couple in Canada. The Past Champions
Live Collection was one of the grandest
collection of Arabian horses who have made their mark in
Louisville. Not only was there are Formal
Farewell Tribute but we were able to
Meet-and-Greet them up close and personal.
Saturday night was quite the tear jerker as we said
goodbye not only to Louisville but also to these great
horses and Good Thunder, the winningest U.S. and
Canadian National Champion Stallion ever. They
retired him from the show ring by ceremoniously removing
his front shoes. The new and old friends we
visited with, the contacts we made, and the investments
we became involved in will forever affect our lives. |

Jan
MacCartney-Hales - We
are excited to announce the purchase and partnership
of the gorgeous Desperado V daughter,
EV Annie Oakly
(left).
Annie was born and bred at Majik Arabians then
went on to win Regional Championships with Emerald
Valley Arabians. Near the beginning of 2006,
Jan MacCartney-Hales purchased our lovely Kalihari Majik
(below), a Desert Heat VF
daughter out of our Bey Sharina (Bey Shah). After searching through many
farms Jan mentioned to me that she was interested in
purchasing another mare and really liked the
Desperado V horses but wanted more size than she had
been able to find. I
knew the perfect horse for her and
promptly
made phone calls to find Annie Oakly. I had
always wanted Annie back on our farm. A
partnership was formed and Annie is back home in the
meadows of her youth. She has been bred to
Magnum Majik for her first foal. Annie is is a
full bodied 15.3 hands and out of the same Bey
Shah daughter that produced Jan's
previously purchased, Kalihari Majik who is now in
foal to the Brazilian National Champion,
*Fausto.
Jan has also leased the exquisite black, WH
Memory Lane (left),
a daughter of the Bey Shah son, Beythovan
MC, sire of many
champions. Her dam is by the famous *GG
Samir. Wanting to capitalize on the incredible
neck and structure that Bey Tshah Majik
has to offer, as well as doubling up on the Bey Shah
that created Kalihari Majik, Memory Lane is now in foal to
Bey Tshah
Majik.
We congratulate Jan on an excellent start in the Arabian Horse Industry! |
