We regularly choose to bring into
our breeding program some of the most desirable and sought
after bloodlines in the world. This year we have chosen
the Brazilian import, *Fausto, as that addition.
In the past, breeders in Brazil have imported some of our
finest horses and have excelled in their breeding of them.
Every time shown, *Fausto has been unanimous champion.
That speaks volumes for his quality as an individual.
His pedigree speaks volumes about his genetic potential as a
sire.

As royally bred as a stallion
can be, *Fausto crh not only exhibits the beauty, balance and
brilliance of his sire, but also the unmistakable quality of
the important Aladdinn ~BASK++ blood carried by his dam, fhf
Xantal.
A daughter of U. S. National Champion, Almaden II, fhf Xantal
carries four lines to *BASK++, the all time leading progenitor
of National winning Arabian show horses. The first such line
comes through Almaden II, a son of U. S. National Champion
Stallion *Aladdinn, the all-time leading sire of National
Champion Arabian Stallions.
As to motion ~ Almaden II is a 3/4 brother to 6 time National
Champion Park Horse, Allience (both stallions being by
*Aladdinn out of daughters of *BASK++). Almaden's dam, La
Ambir, was not only a daughter of *BASK++, but also a 3/4
sister to Ambra, one of the breed's greatest-ever, National
Champion Park Horses. AND, *Fausto's third dam, A Special
Feature, was by the *BASK++ son, Gdansk, another superb Park
Horse and full brother to National Champion Park Horse,
Cognac. Many of today's most successful Saddle Seat English
Division Champions carry, up close, the blood of both Gdansk
and Cognac.
Fausto's additional two lines to *BASK++ come through Wind
Feature, a daughter of Fire Wind out of a daughter of Fire
Wind. Himself out of a daughter of the American foundation
sire, Rapture, Fire Wind was considered by many to have been
one of *BASK's two or three most beautiful sons. Early in his
career as a breeding stallion, *BASK++ was bred to the
daughters of Rapture and other heavily *Raffles/Skowronek-bred
mares with extraordinary success. The offspring of these
matings gave the breed some of the loveliest horses of their
day, horses that still play important roles in the pedigrees
of modern champions. A line to Dan Gainey's beloved Ferzon
son, Gazon, and lines to Spanish beauties, rounds out fhf
Xantal's powerful contribution of extreme Arabian type.
As to Arabian type ~ Needless to say, Magnum Psyche is an
immeasurably important progenitor of exotic Arabian show
horses and will go
down in history as one of the most influential Arabian sires
of the breed. And
when crossed on females that carry Arabian type, the results
are nothing short of remarkable. fhf Xantal is such a mare.
From a line of the breed's best athletes, this mare also
represents exceptional beauty and refinement.
If you study the pedigrees of our
horses, you will find that we have consistently brought in the
Spanish lines through our mares and crossed them on the great
stallions of our times. *Fausto continues our 'Majik Tradition' by bringing in
Spanish through both the sire AND the dam. Magnum
Psyche's dam is Pure Spanish. *Fausto's dam line goes to
the great Spanish broodmare sire, *Barich de Washoe who is the
sire of our Majik Barissa (See For Sale), the dam's sire of our Bey
Sharina who is the dam of our senior stallion, Bey
Tshah Majik. And our young stallion, Magnum Majik,
like *Fausto, is by Magnum Psyche and out of a beautiful
performance bred mare by Ballad V (Huckleberry Bey x *Sanadik
El Shaklan dtr) and out of a gorgeous daughter of the
exquisite Sahara Prince.
This year we are breeding our multi Champion Bey Tshah Majik
daughter, Tsymply Majik, (See
Broodmares) to *Fausto. Our client,
Jan McCartney, who recently purchased Kalihari Majik
(see Sales List - Sold Page) will also be breeding her to *Fausto.
We have purchased a block of breedings so some may be for
sale. Contact us if you are interested.
